Is it best to use a progressive system whereby you deem $6 a 'unit' and press a unit each time you hit and take the balance? Can you increase your bets by only $6 on a $10 table provided you already have over $10 on the number? This next trip though I am contemplating pressing my bets a little.
This helps keep me in the game longer, but also means I never take full advantage of a really good roll. I usually play $10 tables with $12 each on the 6 and 8. Occasional hardways bets if I am drunk/winning/both. I am a pretty conservative craps player-pass line with odds and betting the 6 and 8.
